With our ever-expanding list of sets, support features, and equipment, Blue Cloud is a uniquely flexible production and entertainment playground. Blue Cloud is one of the largest of a handful of Ranches within the City of Santa Clarita’s Movie Overlay Zone (MOZ), a zoning designation which provides for close to zero noise restrictions and 24/7 production among other advantages. The ranch is an integral part of film & television history. With almost 500 projects filmed here to date, you’ve seen our sets and locations in everything from Rebel Moon, Iron Man and American Sniper to SEAL Team, The Old Man, and Barry.
Blue Cloud Movie Ranch is the premiere destination for making any dream you can dream come to life. With close proximity to central Los Angeles and an incentive-friendly environment, from the Thirty Mile Zone to Santa Clarita’s Movie Ranch Overlay Zone, filming at Blue Cloud makes filming in California a logistically and financially attractive proposition.In addition to the fundamentals that make a location financially and logistically feasible, including a close relationship with the Santa Clarita Film Office and the LA Film Office, the ranch’s flexibility and collaborative approach also makes it a place that's creatively inspiring. We have a wide range of ready to shoot sets, but we also appreciate that sometimes to bring a vision to life, you have to start from scratch with a blank canvas. We are always prepared to work with our creative counterparts to either alter current sets for creative needs or advise on where they might best build out their vision from the ground up on our property.
